The CCT Transport Nurse provides direct patient care performing basic and advanced life support to the ill and injured during an ambulance transport. Patients commonly include individuals leaving definitive observation units, Emergency Departments, or Intensive Care Units. These patients are most often transported because they require a higher level of for both adults and pediatric. The CCT Nurse functions under the standing orders of the sending Physician, and the patient care guidelines approved by the company Medical Director.
