Job Description
Job Title: Credit Manager - (Business Loans and Loan Against Property)
Location: Lucknow
CTC: Upto 10 LPA
Job Summary
The Credit Manager for Business Loans (BL) and Loan Against Property (LAP) will be responsible for overseeing the credit evaluation process, managing the credit risk associated with business loans and property-backed loans, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves assessing creditworthiness, managing loan portfolios, and working closely with sales and risk teams to drive business growth while mitigating credit risk.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement credit policies and procedures specific to Business Loans and Loan Against Property to ensure effective risk management and compliance.
• Evaluate and approve credit applications for business loans and LAP by analyzing financial statements, property valuations, credit histories, and other relevant data.
• Monitor and manage the credit risk of business loan and LAP portfolios, including setting and adjusting credit limits and terms.
• Oversee the due diligence process, including risk assessment, documentation, and loan structuring.
• Collaborate with sales teams to assess and manage client credit risk, and to resolve any credit-related issues or concerns.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, providing support and guidance to ensure successful loan servicing and compliance.
• Prepare and present regular reports on loan portfolio performance, risk exposures, and credit activities to senior management.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions to continuously enhance credit management practices.
• Implement strategies to optimize the credit process, improve efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in credit management with a focus on Business Loans and Loan Against Property.
• In-depth knowledge of credit analysis, risk assessment, and loan structuring for business and property-backed loans.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with various teams.
• Proven track record of making sound credit decisions and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
