Job Description
Kotak Mahindra Bank is looking for a Credit Manager to join our team and help us build our business. We are looking for a highly-motivated and organized individual who has a passion for finance and a commitment to helping us grow.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in credit management. You should have excellent knowledge of banking regulations, loan analysis and underwriting, and experience with risk management systems. You must also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be interacting with customers and colleagues. Responsibilities:
Manage the credit activities of the bank, including loan analysis and underwriting, credit risk management, and compliance with banking regulations.
Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to ensure the safety and soundness of the bank’s loan portfolio.
Monitor credit portfolios and identify any potential risks or issues.
Review loan applications and credit reports to determine credit worthiness.
Negotiate terms and conditions of loans with customers.
Prepare reports and presentations to present to senior management and board members.
Communicate with customers and colleagues to ensure a smooth credit process.
Stay up to date with changes in banking regulations and credit policies.
Provide guidance and advice to the team on credit matters.
Develop and maintain relationships with external contacts, such as credit rating agencies.
