Job Description
Role/Job Title: Credit Analyst
Business: Wholesale Banking
Function/ Department: Corporate Coverage
Place of work: Delhi
Roles & Responsibilities:
'Performing credit appraisal of clients (corporates/conglomerates with T/O > INR 250 Cr) and analyzing factors such as income growth, market share, risks associated with business, industry, balance sheet analysis etc., across sectors.
Preparation of written credit proposals combining financials analysis with sectorial information to support credit committee decisions regarding the client’s risk of default, credit rating and adequacy of the proposed financing.Liaison with Credit Risk, Compliance to get the credit memo approved internally
Handling Early Warning Signal meetings with appropriate responses for each observations . Ensuring overall portfolio hygiene.
Assisting Senior Relationship Managers on client’s meetings, internal presentations and MIS’s.
Handling various legal, compliance, audit observations aspects of the proposals.
Secondary Responsibilities:
' Visiting clients to improve business relationship with them
Proactively understanding & assisting RMs/ SRMs in preparation of business/account plans, target client identification.
Plant visit, regularly interacting with clients, external rating analysts and maintaining call reports
Analyzing quarterly financial performance, stock statements, stock audit reports and highlighting trends and deviations
Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities:
''Pro-active participation in process transformation initiatives with focus on cost reduction and customer delight
Enable RM/SRMs to drive growth targets by providing necessary support.
Ability to put forth independent views and come up with analysis/ways to help RMs/SRMs in effective cross sell and optimal use of Bank’s loan/non loan products.
Key Success Metrics:
Efficiently (through guidance) achieve CAM approvals and credit hygiene for corporate clients thereby helping RM, SRM/organization to achieve its target/goal.TAT for Preparation of Credit Appraisal Memo.
