Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and versatile Video Editor and Videographer who also has a strong understanding of graphic design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shooting high-quality video content, editing videos, and creating engaging visual assets that align with our brand identity. This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and the ability to handle projects from conception to final execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Videography:
• Plan, shoot, and produce high-quality video content for social media, advertisements, and other digital platforms.
• Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
• Capture creative footage during events, campaigns, or interviews.
• Video Editing:
• Edit raw footage into polished, visually appealing videos with engaging transitions, effects, and sound design.
• Ensure videos align with the brand's tone and message.
• Create short-form and long-form content, including reels, vlogs, promotional videos, and tutorials.
• Graphic Design:
• Design motion graphics, title cards, and animations to enhance video content.
• Create visual assets for thumbnails, banners, and marketing materials.
• Work on branding elements to ensure a cohesive visual identity across all platforms.
• Collaboration and Organisation:
• Work closely with the content and marketing team to understand project objectives and timelines.
• Suggest creative ideas to enhance video quality and storytelling.
• Manage and organise video files, projects, and backups.
Requirements:
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
• Experience with videography equipment, including cameras, gimbals, and lighting setups.
• Creative Skills:
• Strong storytelling and visual composition abilities.
• Ability to create visually appealing graphics and animations.
• Keen eye for detail, colour grading, and sound design.
• Other Skills:
• Knowledge of social media trends and platform-specific video requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in creating content for brands, influencers, or digital media platforms.
• Photography skills are a plus.
