The organisation is one of the fastest growing mobile gaming studios in India with global offices in US, UK, Canada, Australia, Israel, and Ukraine. It was founded by a Stanford alumnus.
The objective is to create leisure options by incorporating the perfect blend of entertainment and skill. The organisation is proud of bringing our age-old beloved Indian card-based games (like Rummy, TeenPatti etc.) to a seamless digital format and that’s why our players love them.
The organisation offers a diversified portfolio of free to play games like Teenpatti, IndianRummy, Poker, Tambola, Soccer Battles etc. on both Android & iOS platforms. As a testament to its growing success, the organisation was backed by Peak XV Partners (Sequoia Capital) in 2014 and since then they have only grown from strength to strength while building and owning the entire technology platform with no third-party servers, which enables their games to scale to massive numbers of users with great performance.
About the Role:
They are seeking a highly skilled Content & Copy Lead to define our brand's voice and create impactful content tailored for a global audience, with a strong focus on the US market. You will lead the development of strategic, high-quality content across all touchpoints, including emails, push notifications, in-app messages, and website copy. Combining creativity with data insights, you’ll drive user engagement, retention, and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Craft engaging and persuasive copy for emails, push notifications, and in-app content to connect with a global audience.
• Develop and execute a content strategy that spans website, social media, and digital channels.
• Ensure website content is clear, user-focused, and SEO-optimized.
• Lead a team of writers to deliver content that aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across platforms.
• Analyze content performance and apply insights to optimize engagement and conversions.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and gaming culture to maintain a fresh and relevant brand voice.
Qualifications:
• Masters in business administration or mass communications with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in crafting copy for emails, push notifications, and in-app content.
• Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to connect with a US-focused, global audience.
• Strong background in content strategy, SEO, and digital marketing tools.
• Leadership experience and the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and data-driven content optimization strategies.
• Knowledge of gaming culture and trends is a plus.
