Job Description
Purpose of the Job:
LEAD started with a vision to provide disruptive Ed-tech solutions for all stakeholders. Since then, LEAD has grown into a team of proficient individuals striving to transform education. In line with this vision and strategy, LEAD has been continuously working on creating world class products. We are looking to hire a Creative Director-Design to lead the strategic design for the academic solution that meets the needs of students, teachers, and parents of affordable private schools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead innovation and strategic blueprint for the LEAD academic solutions to deliver on the long term mission of the organization.
• Bring transformation shift to the design frameworks used in LEAD academic solutions.
• Identify the pedagogical best practices and support educational technologies needed to effectively execute curricular missions.
• Identify instructional approach(es) appropriate for targeted outcomes and requirements.
• Drive the team to articulate the goals, assessments, activity paths, learning objects of the design team.
• Oversee the work of assigned designers and developers to ensure the production of content that are both aligned with programmatic outcomes and established design values for online/offline learning outcomes.
• Support the team for curriculum and instruction in the development of curricular models for offline and online delivery.
• Ensures that the work of Instructional Designers and Developers maintains the integrity of the initial design blueprints, the design values of the partner schools, and the established timelines for the project.
• Ensures strategic communications with internal and external stakeholders on curriculum and development projects.
• Build capability within the team by bringing global best practices in design and building.
• Lead a deep understanding of teacher and student context in affordable schools to create a relevant and meaningful academic solution.
• Collaborate with technology to create innovative academic solutions that leverage technology in the classroom & at home.
Ideal Experience Profile:
• Expertise in print & digital
• Should have done core design work
• Should have strong design educational background
• Domain expertise of various design frameworks
• Domain expertise in instructional design
• Expertise in new age media
• Proven working experience in K10 education development and innovation in for-profit/ not-for-profit enterprises
• Proven working experience leading diverse design teams
• Proven experience in the usage of technology in education
• Excellent leadership and analytical skills
