Creative Content Creator & Social Media Assistant (Part-Time)
Job Description
We are seeking a creative, reliable, and thoughtful individual to help develop and manage social media content for a professional in the funeral service industry.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, video creation, photography, and creating meaningful content that connects with people. The goal is to help educate the public, share personal stories, highlight community involvement, and create engaging content across social media platforms.

Responsibilities
Create and manage social media content for Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms
Film and edit short-form videos, including Reels and other video content
Assist with planning and developing content ideas
Write engaging captions and social media copy
Photograph events, projects, and meaningful details
Help develop a consistent online presence and brand voice
Research current social media trends and suggest creative ideas
Schedule and organize posts
Review basic engagement insights and help identify opportunities for growth
Qualifications
Experience creating content for social media platforms
Comfortable filming and editing video content
Strong writing and communication skills
Creative mindset with an eye for storytelling and visual presentation
Ability to work independently and bring forward new ideas
Comfortable interacting professionally with a variety of people
Interest in photography, videography, communications, marketing, journalism, or digital media preferred
Preferred Skills
Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar programs
Photography or videography experience
Familiarity with Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook content strategies
Understanding of social media analytics and engagement
Position Details
Part-time position (approximately 5-10 hours per week)
Flexible schedule
Some in-person content creation required
Pay based on experience ($18-$20/hour)
