We are seeking an experienced Crane Rigger and Dogman to join our team in Auckland

Job Information
The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a Rigger and Dogman. You will be responsible for ensuring safe lifting operations, directing crane operators, and handling rigging equipment. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Title: Dogman/Crane Rigger
Job Location: Auckland Wide
Employment: Full-time employment (Starting in September)
Days Required: Monday to Friday, 40 Hours per week
Hours per week: 40 Hours per week between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
Weekly Payments

Duties and Responsibilities:

Rigging: Safely attach and detach loads to cranes using appropriate rigging equipment.
Communication: Direct crane operators using hand signals and radio communication to ensure safe load movement.
Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with company and industry safety standards.
Inspection: Inspect rigging equipment and materials before and after use to ensure they are in good condition and suitable for the job.
Teamwork: Work closely with the crane operator and other team members to plan and execute lifting operations efficiently.
Qualifications:

Certification: Valid Rigger and Dogman certification.
License: Site safe / Construct Safe License
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in rigging and crane operations.
Knowledge: strong understanding of crane operations, rigging techniques, and safety protocols.
Physical fitness: ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal (hand signals).
Attention to Detail: A high level of attention to detail and the ability to anticipate potential safety hazards.
Drug test: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
