About UsCourt Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission. Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'. The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately +0 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the RoleThe Court Support Services Manager - Eastern Melbourne position is responsible for the leadership and management of the Court Support Services programs (including CISP and ARC). The role provides overall leadership to a multi-disciplinary team consisting of team leaders, advanced case managers, case managers and administrative staff, as well as having responsibility for implementing practice improvements and quality assurance processes across the programs. The role will support evidence-based service delivery and policy development within Specialist Courts and Programs.
This role is fixed-term until November 2025.
About YouWe encourage you to apply if you possess the following:• A graduate tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, allied health, disability or other related qualification.• Proven management experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and geographically spread operational sites, effectively promoting a client focused approach to the delivery and management of services.• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment delivering solid leadership and emotional intelligence skills, with demonstrated ability to engage others, inspire and motivate people to influence a positive and collaborative organisational culture.• Demonstrated extensive knowledge, skills, and experience delivery of evidence-based interventions and/or case management support to individuals to engage in appropriate mental health care in the community.• Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff.• Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution skills, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, throughout all organisational levels.• A willingness to undertake a WWCC.• A valid and current Victorian Drivers Licence.
