About the Role
You will be responsible for transcribing various court and other cases in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As part of a national network, you will work behind the scenes to transcribe audio recordings from across the country. Your work will involve two primary types: evidential transcription, which requires quick turnaround times for live court proceedings, and non-evidential transcription, which involves recording post-court events such as bail hearings and sentencing notes.
The role demands resilience and adaptability, as you will encounter a wide range of cases, some of which may be distressing. However, we prioritize your well-being and provide the necessary support and tools to ensure your success in this position.
To excel in this role, you should be comfortable spending most of your time working on a computer to produce transcription. Additionally, you may be exposed to voice transcription and speech-to-text technology as they are integrated into our workflow.
