Job Title: Courier Driver
Location: Oahu, Hawaii
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Operations Manager
Pay: Starting from $18.00 per hour
Job Summary:
United Courier Services is seeking dependable and professional Courier Drivers with the ability to also drive courier vehicles as part of our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up packages from commercial and government locations. Occassionally, you will be needed to securely transport valuables in an armored vehicle. Strong customer service, attention to detail, honesty, and teamwork are essential for success in this position. We provide on-the-job training to ensure you are well-equipped to handle courier duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Pickup and Delivery: Safely transport and deliver packages to various commercial and government locations in a timely and accurate manner.
Customer Interaction: Provide professional and courteous service to customers, ensuring delivery confirmations and resolving any concerns during the process.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines, traffic laws, and company policies. Safely handle and transport goods, including heavy items.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members and management to meet company objectives and customer expectations.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Must be able to pass a background check (clean criminal record)
Available to work full-time, including weekends
Strong customer service and communication skills
Dependable, honest, and able to work well in a team environment
