Counter Sales Representative
The Company:
We are a landscape supply and sod production farm looking for a Counter Sales Associate for our Sales Center at 285177 Frontier Road. This will be a seasonal position from approximately early April to November, however, we are looking for an individual who is committed to returning to work for us in future seasons.
The Role:
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Counter Sales Representative plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting accurate and efficient sales operations. This position involves assisting customers, processing orders, and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish. We are currently hiring for a Tuesday to Saturday shift rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide outstanding customer service to walk-in and phone-in customers
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Perform data entry of sales orders, invoices, and customer information into the point-of-sale system
• Maintain accurate records of transactions
• Answer phones and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff or department
• Respond to general customer inquiries via phone and email
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional sales counter and showroom area
• Support team members in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
Qualifications & Skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Basic computer skills and comfort with data entry
• Landscape knowledge is considered an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Store Hours
Monday-Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm
Saturday - 8:00am - 1:00pm
Sunday and all public holidays - Closed
