Counter Sales / Associate

Counter Sales / In-Store Associate (Full-Time)Ohio Surplus is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Full-Time Counter Sales / In-Store Associate. This position involves assisting customers, handling merchandise, operating equipment, and helping maintain an organized and efficient store environment.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with product selection and purchases in store or on the phone
Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone
Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move inventory safely
Process sales transactions and assist with order fulfillment
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Use computers for inventory lookup, sales transactions, and other store operations
Assist with receiving and managing incoming inventory
Qualifications

Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
Forklift experience preferred
Comfortable using computers and learning store software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license
Warehouse or retail experience preferred
Availability to work occasional Saturdays
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
