Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Counter Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our store, assisting customers with their needs, managing transactions, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and appreciated.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and offering product recommendations
Handle sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash handling and processing payments
Assist customers with order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and organizing products for pickup or delivery
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the counter area to ensure a professional appearance
Support inventory management by restocking shelves, updating product displays, and conducting stock counts
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate sales efforts and share product knowledge
Use multilingual skills to assist diverse customer groups and enhance overall service experience
Experience
Dealership experience or retail sales background is highly preferred
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures
Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and phone etiquette
Ability to negotiate and promote products effectively to meet sales goals
Experience with automotive repair parts or maintenance is a plus but not required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and order management
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving a diverse clientele
Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
