Designation- Dy. Manager - Costing
Company- Japanese MNC
Location- Vithalapur (Ahmedabad, Gujarat)
Experience- 10 to 15 years
Reports to – Managing Director
Salary- Upto 15 LPA

LTD. extrudes high precision / tight tolerance thin-walled aluminum alloy extrusions for automotive, industrial, and commercial, air-conditioning applications.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, procedures, and controls to track and analyze expenses within the organization.
2. Analyse manufacturing costs and variances, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization and process improvement. Implement and oversee Activity-Based Costing (ABC), Throughput Accounting (TA), or other advanced cost accounting methods.
3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports including cost of goods sold, inventory valuation, and cost variance analysis.
4. Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to establish cost standards and ensure compliance with budgetary targets.
5. Conduct regular audits of cost accounting processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
6. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing input on cost assumptions and projections.
7. Provide support for decision-making processes by analyzing financial data and presenting findings to management.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cost accounting, recommending adjustments to policies and procedures as needed.
+. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field along with a professional certification such as Inter CMA or Inter ICWAI or Inter CA equivalent is preferred.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to manipulate large datasets and perform complex financial analysis.
4. Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methods.
5. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
7. Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
8. Knowledge of Indian accounting standards and regulations is a plus.
+. Experience with ERP systems (MS Business Centre) is an advantage.
10. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
11. Impeccable integrity, strong character, and ethical decision-making.
12. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on new challenges as needed.
