Job Description
As a Corporate Communications Specialist at Amara Raja Group, you will play a crucial role in shaping and protecting the organization's reputation through strategic internal and external communications. Your responsibilities will include managing corporate messaging, media relations, leadership communications, and crisis response. You will work closely with senior leadership, HR, and business units to ensure clear and consistent communication with employees, media, stakeholders, and the public. Additionally, you will be involved in digital communications, content marketing, internal communications, and marketing communications for group companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and drive communication plans aligned with organizational goals
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure messaging consistency and brand image alignment
- Liaise with advertising agencies, designers, printers, and vendors for communication materials
- Handle events and implement communication strategies for key initiatives and projects
- Build positive brand narratives through external and internal communication
- Maintain and update content on the corporate website in line with brand guidelines
- Coordinate with internal colleagues for website content development
Qualifications Required:
- 610 years of experience in agency and/or corporate communications
- Masters degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
- 5 to 10 years of experience in corporate communications in large organizations or 5+ years in an advertising or PR agency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized with attention to detail
- Sound understanding of agency functions
- Excellent managerial and organizational abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with corporate management, employees, media, and the larger community
- Ability to coordinate efforts of various teams to present a coherent message
