Job Description
We are looking for Cooks for a busy Restaurant and takeaway in Auckland.
Minimum 30 hours per week (Plus an opportunity for overtime)
Wages- $26.00 to $28.00/ hr
Full-time, Permanent
Location: Auckland
Great opportunity to work with a friendly team in a busy Restaurant/Takeaway in Auckland
Job duties:
. Performing all the essential food preparation, seasoning and cooking
. Regulating temperatures of cooking equipment like grills and ovens
. Maintain and ensure food quality at all times
. Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities
. Maintaining hygiene at all times
. Train other kitchen staff whenever required
. Stocktaking and reporting it to the Chef/Manager
. Clean and keep the kitchen as required by NZ standards
Candidate requirements:
. At least one year of relevant experience
. Experience in preparing Indian Cuisine, especially South Indian Cuisine
. Experience in Tandoori or Curry style of cooking
