The Role
We are recruiting now for an experienced and passionate Cooks to assist the Al Aseel team in running day to day activities of the kitchen.
The position is full time with an attractive salary package that also offers good work and life balance opportunities.
Your key duties and responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:
Prepare and cook Lebanese dishes and associated menu items in accordance with recipes, standards, and portion controls.
Execute daily kitchen operations across all stations (prep, sauté, grill, frying, cold prep) to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Assist the Head Chef in planning and organising for service, including setup, stock rotation, and station readiness.
Maintain consistent food quality, taste, texture, and presentation across all dishes served.
Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards and uphold cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
Monitor and control food costs through accurate portioning, minimizing waste, and proper storage practices.
Maintain accurate inventory records, assist with stocktakes, and inform management of any shortages or variances.
Plate dishes attractively and consistently, ensuring presentation aligns with Al Aseel standards.
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth, efficient service and timely delivery of all orders.
Enforce uniform and personal hygiene standards and ensure staff comply with the company’s health and safety policies.
Participate in regular kitchen meetings, contribute ideas for menu development, and assist with quality improvement initiatives.
Demonstrate flexibility with shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and event-focused hours, to support business needs.
Skills and Experience:
· Trade Certificate in Commercial Cookery or minimum 2-3 years experience
· Experience with Middle Eastern Cuisine will be highly regarded
· Positive attitude with the ability to lead a large team
· Excellent interpersonal skills with strong internal and external customer focus
· Ability to cope with changing work demands and a fast-changing environment
· Knowledge in food safety and hygiene
Pay: $79,000.00 – $82,000.00 per year
