As a Chef, you will shape the dining experience for our customers, ensure efficient kitchen operations and uphold our cafe's reputation for excellence.

Job Responsibilities
Plan and develop menu while managing food costs, portion control and ingredient sourcing.
Prepare and cook dishes with precision, ensuring consistency in quality, taste and presentation.
Maintain a clean, organised and compliant kitchen by following food safety and hygiene regulations.
Train, mentor and supervise kitchen staff, fostering skill development and teamwork.
Monitor inventory, order supplies and manage stock efficiently to minimise waste control costs.
Collaborate with management to introduce innovative dishes, refine existing recipes and enhance the dining experience.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service, timely food delivery and customer satisfaction.
Adapt to high-pressure environments, demonstrating efficiency, leadership and problem-solving skills.
Implement and uphold workplace safety measures to create a secure and productive kitchen environment.
Stay updated with culinary trends, new cooking techniques and industry best practices.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a cook in a cafe, restaurant or similar setting.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for cooking.
Team player with good communication skills.
