About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Wynn Resorts team as a Cook Specialist. In this role, you will work in a dynamic kitchen environment, preparing and finishing foods in the sushi station. You will be responsible for meeting quality standards, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment, and assisting the Chef de Partie and Chef as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation and finishing of foods in the sushi station.
Quality control and maintenance of cleanliness and sanitation.
Assistance to the Chef de Partie and Chef in production execution.
Labeling and dating of products for safekeeping and sanitation.
Application of knife skills for food preparation.
Closure of work stations, including returning food items to storage and maintaining inventory.
Notification of management regarding restocking needs and product shortages.
Communication with the chef on duty regarding task completion and deadlines.
