Job description
Our Bistro food offering includes good home made, wholesome food along with lighter lunch items (e.g., soups, sandwiches, paninis, wraps). We also offer delicious home bakes/scones.
We are looking for an individual that has experience of providing a professional catering service within a busy kitchen and creating excellent food that keeps our customers returning. You will be responsible for compiling food orders as well as creating and developing new food concepts (e.g., daily/weekly specials).
You will ensure statutory Health Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislation and procedures are adhered to.
Hours of work covering the Kitchen would be 8am - 4pm. You will work 37.5 hours per week, working + days out of 14, including working every second Saturday Sunday. There is no split shifts or evening working associated with this role. A degree of flexibility will be required to help cover staff holidays.
We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate: -
Good communication skills.
Has a passion to bake and cook home made food.
A good eye for detail when it comes to presentation of food and taste.
Having some experience of working in a kitchen environment.
Work as part of a team.
