The Opportunity
We are looking for an Intermediate Controls Engineer & Project Manager to join our growing team. This hybrid role blends hands-on controls design work with end-to-end project management responsibilities. You will own projects from requirements gathering through to commissioning, serving as both a technical contributor and a client-facing project lead.
Key Responsibilities
Controls Engineering
Translate client requirements into functional controls architectures and system designs for new (greenfield) and retrofit automation equipment.
Design and develop PLC programs, HMI interfaces, and electrical control systems for industrial automation equipment.
Apply controls engineering fundamentals and integrate pneumatic and electrical systems into automated assemblies.
Lead and participate in internal and client-facing design reviews.
Support panel build oversight, installation, commissioning, and on-site troubleshooting.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation including electrical schematics, I/O lists, PLC/HMI code, operating manuals, and commissioning protocols.
