Job Description

As a Contract Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality contracting support to the business. This includes analyzing, drafting, and advising on transactions, as well as identifying and mitigating legal risks associated with commercial contracts.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders to provide counsel and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Additionally, you will negotiate and draft other legal documents, conduct research on complex legal issues, and perform due diligence on proposed transactions.

Your expertise in global IT, ITES, digital, and AI transactions will be invaluable in this role. You will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement best practices, processes, and templates for contracting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and advise on commercial contracts, including software licensing, SaaS, and IT managed services
• Negotiate and draft legal documents, such as contracts and agreements
• Conduct research on complex legal issues and emerging trends
• Perform due diligence on proposed transactions and identify potential risks
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with laws and regulations

Requirements:
• Qualified lawyer with minimum 5 years of experience in a law firm or in-house
• Relevant experience in commercial contracting and global IT transactions
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
