Job Title: Continental Chef - Commi 1
Locations: Pune (Maharashtra)
Kannur (Kerala)
Mangaluru (Karnataka)
Salary Range: 18,000 INR to 22,000 INR per month (Salary may vary based on experience and qualifications)
Job Summary: As a Continental Chef - Commi 1 at our premier American authentic burger restaurant, you play a key role in our culinary team. Your responsibilities will include preparing a variety of continental dishes, ensuring food quality, and contributing to the success of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a range of continental dishes with precision and creativity.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet or exceed our high standards.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and update the restaurant's continental cuisine menu.
• Supervise and assist in training kitchen staff, ensuring a cohesive and efficient team.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
• Monitor and control food costs and minimize waste.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stock rotation.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Qualifications:
• Diploma in Hotel Management is mandatory.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in continental cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of preparing various continental dishes, including burgers, pasta, hotdogs, sandwiches, wraps, coffee, mocktails, steak, rice bowls, and desserts.
• Good understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
• High grooming standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to work in shifts.
