The Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and imaginative Content Writer to join our high-performing marketing pod. Working closely with a designer and a marketing manager, you'll craft impactful, SEO-optimised content that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our audience—businesses, households, and energy-conscious consumers alike.
From insightful blog posts and press releases to web copy and campaign messaging, you’ll take ownership of the content creation process—from research and drafting to proofing and final polish.
Key Responsibilities
• Create engaging, accurate, and brand-aligned content across multiple platforms (website, blog, email, social media, brochures).
• Ensure editorial consistency by adhering to the company tone, style guide, and brand voice.
• Self-edit and proofread to the highest standard, delivering clean, compelling copy with excellent flow and grammar.
• Conduct thorough research and fact-checking to validate information, statistics, and claims.
• Optimise content for SEO using tools like Semrush, balancing keyword strategy with natural readability
• Collaborate closely with designers and marketing leads to align messaging with campaign goals.
• Contribute creatively to brainstorming sessions, campaign ideation, and content planning.
• Offer and receive constructive feedback as part of a collaborative and iterative content development process.
About You
• 2 years of professional writing experience.
• Exceptional command of English, with a sharp editorial eye for grammar, clarity, and consistency.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while staying responsive and communicative.
• Experience working within brand and editorial guidelines.
• Proactive, curious, and comfortable researching complex topics and translating them into clear, engaging narratives.
