About the role

Looking for a desk resource who can generate content pieces ranging from famous personalities to popular culture to tech, digital and social media trends. Should be curious about celebrities - whether Elon Musk, Donald Trump, Hardik Pandya or Ananya Panday - and culture, and be able to connect the dots. Looking for a person who can spin tweets and Instagram posts into interesting stories with context, and is aware of newsroom pressures, deadlines and SEO rules.

Work Responsibilities

- Write 8-10 content pieces (themed around Trending, Popular Culture and Celebs) daily

- Track social media for interesting themes

- Track Google Analytics for story performance

- Collaborate with SEO team on topical themes

Skills, Experience Expertise - A nose for news features - Impeccable writing skills (knows the difference between its and it's!) - Can source engaging story ideas from social media, celeb posts - Any experience of working with a digital publication will be a bonus

Eligibility - Desired Experience: 3-5 years

- Should have editorial background and a knack for writing

- Should have experience of writing long forms, short forms content
