Job Description
As a Content Writer at Parul University, your role involves creating SEO-optimized, AEO-ready, and GEO-aligned content for search engines, AI platforms, and conversational queries. You will be responsible for crafting high-impact content for performance marketing, including ad copies, nurturing content, hoarding and outdoor copies, landing page content, and CTAs. Additionally, you will be required to develop compelling stories around student success, alumni journeys, placements, research, and institutional milestones. Supporting the ORM team by creating content that enhances brand trust across reviews, forums, and social platforms is also part of your responsibilities. It is essential to monitor online conversations and sentiment to identify content opportunities that influence perception. Collaboration with PR, marketing, academic, and digital teams will be necessary to maintain consistency in voice and messaging. Analyzing content performance and iterating based on engagement, conversion metrics, and audience behavior is a key aspect of the role. Staying updated with Google algorithm changes, AI-driven search behavior, and content trends is crucial for success.
Qualifications Required:
- Strong command over written English with a natural storytelling style.
- Clear understanding of SEO, AEO, GEO, ORM, and performance marketing content.
- Ability to translate data, insights, and feedback into readable, persuasive content.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Search Console, Meta / Google Ads dashboards (Konnect Insight or social listening tools are a plus).
- A portfolio demonstrating the ability to balance creativity with conversion.
- Sense of humor is welcome, but clarity is mandatory. Fluff is not appreciated.
Preferred Background:
- Bachelors degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, Digital Marketing, or equivalent experience.
- 35 years of experience in content writing, performance marketing content, SEO-led storytelling, or ORM-driven content.
