The Content Strategy Director position is responsible for the development and execution of the overall content strategy for the association. This role is critical to the organization as it requires a deep understanding of the industry and the ability to assess the specific and evolving informational needs of the stakeholders to ensure we are delivering the most valuable content.

While the role is mainly performed remotely, there is a frequent requirement to attend workshops and meetings in the IAB Canada office or at member locations.

Responsibilities:

Plan and execute IAB Canada’s annual content strategy that support the IAB Canada membership and the digital advertising industry at large.
Ideation and creation of long form content (e.g., industry papers, podcasts, videos, articles and course materials) in line with IAB Canada’s overall content strategy.
Chief Editor of IAB Canada “Always On” newsletter – article creation, editing, managing third party content etc.
Collaborate and work closely with team members to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment with overall business objectives.
Liaise with IAB Canada members to build and maintain content – attending council and committee meetings.
Project management for any content-related items in development for IAB Canada
Work closely with marketing team to help amplify content outputs to fulfill the content strategy objectives. Read more
