Senior Shotcreter
Immediate Start- Sydney
About Us
The Rix Group is a progressive specialist contractor who leads the way in managing challenging and diverse ground engineering projects. We provide a multitude of ground stabilisation & ground support methodologies including piling, shotcrete (Inc gunite), rock bolting, soil nails & ground anchors.
The Roles – permanent full-time
Due to our current operational requirements and sustained growth, we are currently recruiting a Senior Shotcreter to join our NSW Operations.
Experience required
· Experienced operator of shotcrete machines and equipment to apply concrete mixture.
· Working alongside Anchoring & Drilling team, prepare surfaces and apply shotcrete according to specifications.
· Ensure safety protocols and quality standards are met.
· Conduct routine maintenance on equipment.
· Experience in shotcrete application.
· Strong knowledge of concrete mixing and application techniques.
· Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
Duties & Tasks
To be considered you will need to demonstrate the following:
· Building the teams skill level
· Managing project Shotcrete operations
· Demonstrate a strong safety culture and awareness
Hold a nationally accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card)
Full Driving licence
Own transport
MR licence (line pump operators)
Team player
Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and ******* screen.
