This position is for an initial 6-Month Contract Term with potential to become a permanent role. Compensation will be dependent on experience and performance.
The Content Optimization Specialist role is highly collaborative, with a focus on creating engaging, well-performing content to increase on-page performance and reach customers at critical points throughout the customer journey. This role requires someone very comfortable with experimentation, understanding customer intent, performance analysis of content through Google Analytics, and a desire to engage and educate customers. This role requires someone with an exceptional eye for detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to self-manage multiple projects and timelines. This role also requires someone who can take feedback in stride and understands the need for an in-depth editing process. Requirements:
A strong grasp of the fundamentals of SEO
Experience working with A/B testing tools
Copywriting experience in an E-commerce environment
Strong technical aptitude for learning new tools platforms, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
Expert working knowledge of Google Analytics
2+ years of experience in copywriting
Nice to have:
Bilingual Proficiency (English/French)
Strong working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
Experience or knowledge in the field of Health and Safety
Working knowledge of WordPress or other content management systems
Recent experience building email campaigns in Mailchimp
Recent experience using Google Analytics
