Job Description

At Well.ca, we are looking to change the landscape of health and wellness in Canada, and we need your help to do it.

We are seeking a passionate, creative, innovative Content Creator with a knack for spotting trends and turning them into content. The ideal candidate lives and breathes social, finds content ideas everywhere and isn’t afraid to be both scrappy and curated. This role will create content of all media including photography, video, animation, as well as content styling and editing. Working with the Social Media Specialist, and reporting to the Campaign & Content Manager, this content will be featured on our social media channels Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and all marketing channels and will hyper-accelerate engagement!

What You'll Do:

Videography & Editing

Plan and execute video content to be used across a variety of channels including, organic and paid social media, email, display advertising, training videos and more.
Filming and all post-production work.
Animation

Create branded animations for social media, campaigns, and special projects.
Photography & Editing

Plan and execute photography for organic and paid social channels.
Plan and execute photography for marketing themes, campaigns, and special projects.
Photoshop or other photo editing software strongly recommended
Community Management & Influencer Support

Engage with our community on TikTok by responding to comments, messages and user-generated content to foster a positive and interactive brand presence.
Monitor trends, conversations and audience sentiment, identifying opportunities to engage and build relationships with followers.
Support on influencer partnerships, by coordinating outreach and with any tasks the team may need help with.
Other projects as required

Some of the Stuff You Need to Have:

Degree, diploma, and/or certification in Film Production, Photography, or Multi-Media
Demonstrated experience creating content
Proficiency in design and editing software (Adobe Creative Suite)
Proficiency with all video equipment, including but not limited to DSLRs, lighting, and microphones and audio equipment.
Familiarity with managing a social media account.
Skilled in all areas of video production including shooting, lighting, audio, staging and styling, and directing
A passion for design, creativity, and innovation
(Healthy) immersion in social media and/or social wellness communities
Superior communication (oral & written) and organization skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and stakeholders
Ability to successfully work either independently and cooperatively
Unwaveringly positive “can-do” attitude
This is a hybrid role, and you will be required to come into the office regularly and as needed.
