Job Description
Job Details:
Processing of accounting activities including reporting and other related tasks.
Compliance of tax processes (improvement and development)
Support and assist in statutory and tax audits
Prepare and coordinate Statutory posting and statutory financials
Partner for questions and issues arising from projects or daily business concerning accounting
Management of identification and evaluation of risks, reporting of identified and evaluated risks
Continuously monitors performance measures, proposing and implementing process improvement to increase process consistency, quality, efficiency and effectiveness. Ensures visibility of the service organization's performance.
Manages and contributes to mitigation of risk
Coordination of tax payments and the processing thereof in the tax ledgers
Updating of tax movement schedules
Maintenance of all hard & soft copy filing for tax department
Monthly closing of tax ledgers
Monthly hedging of the tax position
Hedge effectiveness testing on a monthly basis
Coordination of hedges relating to tax payments
Filing of estimated tax assessments in various jurisdictions
Skills :
Assistance with gathering information for purposes of year end audits and preparation of tax returns
Coordination of requests from other departments for tax documentation
Upkeep of various tax information documents
Other ad-hoc duties when required
Qualifications :
CA with minimum Five years of experience in Direct Taxation and Indirect Taxation
Experience :
CA with minimum Five years of experience in Direct Taxation and Indirect Taxation
Others :
Relevant working knowledge and experience of accounting & Tax Laws and regulations
Should have sound knowledge of VAT/GST laws and must be handling VAT related assignments in the current position (essential).
Having sound knowledge of Service Tax laws and currently handling Service Tax assignments shall be preferred.
