Job Description
We are looking for a Microsoft Platform Developer / Engineer to join the Workplace Integration team to assist in support and development of the Power Platform.
Working under the guidance of a senior developer, you will assist in designing, developing, testing and deploying solutions using Power Apps & Power Automate, SharePoint, GraphAPI and Dataverse.
You will also be expected to assist in developing the governance of the platform and perform support tasks where required.
Essential capabilities
Tenant administration supporting BAU activity and SME-level input to project teams in the areas of SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform
To assist in the development and support of PowerApps, PowerAutomates and SharePoint Online in line with business requirements
Leading technical project engagements to drive successful outcomes across collaboration domain.
Provides SME-level technical support of all facets of the O365 and collaboration service, with particular focus on Teams, SharePoint Power Platform
Contributing as a lead, on projects within Workplace Integration.
Accountable for the successful resolution of critical, high, medium and low problems
Understands the end-to-end (E2E) technical service(s) including dependent components and infrastructure
Serves as the point of escalation (technical owner) for both project and incident activity
Collaborates with Workplace SMEs Architects to ensure that projects handed to Workplace are delivered in accordance with stated strategic and tactical objectives.
Understanding the difference between Power Dataverse vs. SPO data source
Identifies opportunities to drive efficiency through automation.
Experience
Strong experience delivering technical support and development services to large scale enterprise deployments of Office 365 (specifically SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform) and any integrations into these platforms.
Practical SPFX coding experience, with PNP, Power shell, and Azure Function.
Strong general O365 tenant administration experience in large environments.
Experience in designing, authoring and supporting Power Apps (Canvas and MDA) and Power Automates essential.
Experience in the setup and support of Power Platform Centre of Excellence tooling
Integration experience with Rest API, React, Graph API, Microservices desirable
In-depth understanding of the security challenges around M365 and other cloud services in a regulated financial organization
Understanding of Azure and AWS based workloads.
Strong awareness and understanding of hardware, networks, software technologies and applications
Experience in configuring and supporting DevOps CI / CD Pipelines
Experience in configuring and supporting Dataverse as a data storage platform
Dynamics configuration and support highly regarded but not essential
UI / UX experience highly regarded but not essential
Experience with AI builder highly regarded but not essential
Any Project experience with Java, AngularJS, CSS, HTML, XML, JSON, REST API, SOAP, CSOM - Typescript, React, SPFramework (O365 SPOnline) viewed favourably.
Experience with Power Virtual Agent.
Qualification Requirements
Tertiary qualification in technology related degree
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements & solutions
Write well designed & high quality testable code
Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
Integrate software components into fully functional platform
Apply pro-actively & perform hands-on design and implementation of best practice CI / CD
Develop / contribute to software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
Document and maintain software functionality
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
Deploy programs and evaluate customer feedback
Comply with project plans, industry standards and regulatory requirements
Perform support activities for the Power Platform
