Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Warehouse/Logistics Coordinator specializing in plumbing and pipefitting materials. This pivotal role involves overseeing all warehouse operations to ensure efficient management of materials crucial to our construction projects.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing plumbing and pipefitting materials, as well as other project related equipment, materials and tools.
• Implement inventory control procedures to monitor stock levels, track usage, and minimize waste.
• Coordinate with project managers to fulfill material requirements for ongoing construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in warehouse operations.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and shipments using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software tools.
• Collaborate with purchasing and logistics teams to optimize supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct regular inspections of warehouse facilities and equipment to ensure operational readiness and maintenance.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to safely load/unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage of materials.
Qualifications/Experience:
• Proven experience in warehouse management within the construction industry, with a focus on plumbing and pipefitting materials.
• Strong knowledge of construction warehouse operations, including inventory management, logistics, and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency in operations.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices related to construction warehouse operations.
• Valid Drivers License and Forklift Training.
