Job Description
Knelsen Sand and Gravel Ltd. provide premier road, concrete, and precast construction products and services. We supply gravel, asphalt paving, ready-mix concrete, and offer reliable transportation services in trucking throughout Alberta, including Grande Prairie, Peace River, High Level, and Edmonton.

Our team is looking for full-time seasonal Concrete Mixer Driver(s) in our Edmonton, AB location. Here’s what you can expect when working with us:

Responsibilities
Operate a concrete mixer truck safely and efficiently
Deliver concrete to construction sites in a timely manner
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Complete daily hazard assessment and electronic hours of service using Samsara and SiteDocs
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
Maintain cleanliness of the truck (interior and exterior)
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Follow all road safety regulations and company policies
Assist with minor maintenance and report mechanical issues
Requirements
Applicants must have a valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s License.
Clean 5 year commercial driver’s abstract.
Must have previous experience operating a Concrete Mixer Truck.
Knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding areas
Strong work ethic
Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and overtime
Physically fit (ability to climb, lift, and work outdoors in various conditions)
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Employees must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime, and
Pass a pre-employment drug screening
