Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Concept Designer at Silver Stem Communications in Delhi, India. The Concept Designer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including concept development, concept art, character designs, graphic design, and storyboarding. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to bring creative concepts to life and ensure successful event execution.
Qualifications
• Concept Development, Concept Art, and Character Designs skills
• Graphic Design and Storyboarding skills
• Proficiency in design software and tools
• Strong creativity and visual storytelling abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field
• Good Knowledge of 3D Design
• Prior experience in event management or related industry is a plus
Job Summary:
The Concept Designer in Events is responsible for creating innovative and captivating event concepts that align with client objectives and brand identity. This role involves developing visual themes, designing event layouts, and collaborating with various teams to bring event concepts to life. The Concept Designer ensures that all elements of the event are cohesive and deliver a memorable experience for attendees.
Key Responsibilities:
• Concept Development:
• Generate creative and unique event concepts based on client briefs and goals.
• Develop visual themes and design elements that enhance the event experience.
• Create mood boards, sketches, and digital renderings to communicate design ideas.
• Event Design:
• Design event layouts, including floor plans, stage setups, and seating arrangements.
• Select and coordinate décor elements, such as lighting, furniture, floral arrangements, and props.
• Ensure that all design aspects align with the overall event theme and client branding.
• Collaboration and Coordination:
• Work closely with event planners, production teams, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of event designs.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, audiovisual technicians, and other creative professionals to integrate design elements.
• Attend site visits and rehearsals to oversee design implementation and make adjustments as needed.
• Client Interaction:
• Present design concepts and proposals to clients, incorporating feedback and making revisions as necessary.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure that design solutions meet their expectations.
• Provide regular updates and progress reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Budget and Timeline Management:
• Develop and manage design budgets, ensuring that all design elements are cost-effective and within financial constraints.
• Create and adhere to project timelines, ensuring that design deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Source and negotiate with vendors for materials and services required for event design.
• Innovation and Trend Analysis:
• Stay current with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies.
• Incorporate new and innovative design ideas to enhance the event experience.
• Continuously seek opportunities to push creative boundaries and improve design processes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Event Design, Interior Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in event design, set design, or a similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative design work in events.
• Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
• Excellent visual and spatial design skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
