Role Overview:
We are looking for a few Computer Security & System Administrators who can actively manage, monitor, and secure our cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
The role involves system administration, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure management, networking, computer hardware, and overall IT infrastructure support. This is a cross-functional IT Infrastructure role, and the selected candidate will be expected to work across multiple IT domains based on business requirements.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Windows and Linux environments, system troubleshooting, networking, hardware support, and security monitoring. This role requires a proactive problem solver who understands real-world security risks, can detect unusual system behavior, respond to incidents, and support the organization's overall IT infrastructure whenever required.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Computer Security & System Administrator, you will:
➤ Monitor and manage Windows and Linux servers (cloud & local)
➤ Ensure system security, access control, and data protection across all servers
➤ Identify and mitigate risks related to RDP exposure, unauthorized access, and brute-force attacks
➤ Configure and maintain secure remote access (VPN, IP restrictions, MFA where applicable)
➤ Monitor system logs, login activity, and unusual behavior across servers
➤ Implement and enforce security policies (USB restriction, file transfer control, user permissions)
➤ Take regular backups and ensure data recovery readiness
➤ Perform server hardening, patching, and updates
➤ Troubleshoot server, network, and application-level issues
➤ Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, networking devices, and other IT hardware as required
➤ Provide technical support for office IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, operating systems, networking, and end-user issues
➤ Respond to and manage security incidents, breaches, or suspicious activity
➤ Maintain documentation for security processes, IT infrastructure, and system configurations
➤ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure minimal system downtime
➤ Perform other IT infrastructure, system administration, networking, hardware, and security-related responsibilities as assigned based on business requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
➤ B.Tech / B.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, or related engineering field
➤ 3 to 5 years of experience in System Administration / IT Infrastructure
Technical Skills:
➤ Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration
➤ Knowledge of SQL Server administration
➤ Hands-on experience with RDP management and security risks
➤ Understanding of VPN setup (OpenVPN / secure remote access concepts)
➤ Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management
➤ Experience with cloud platforms or distributed systems
➤ Experience in network security tools, network troubleshooting, and monitoring
➤ Understanding of IT security practices, firewalls, ports, system security concepts, and malware protection
➤ Familiarity with server logs, monitoring tools, and alert systems
➤ Understanding of cloud environments and distributed systems
➤ Knowledge of system performance monitoring tools
➤ Experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure
➤ Good understanding of desktop/laptop hardware, peripherals, networking devices, and general IT infrastructure support
Other Skills:
➤ Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking
➤ Ability to respond quickly during system issues
➤ Good written and spoken English communication skills
➤ Willingness to learn and handle critical situations
➤ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Work Expectations:
➤ This is a full-time, cross-functional IT Infrastructure role involving system administration, cybersecurity, networking, cloud infrastructure, computer hardware, desktop/laptop support, and general IT operations based on organizational requirements
➤ This is a full-time in-office standard day-shift role
➤ But, the candidate must be available for critical issue handling outside the regular hours (if required)
(Note: This will not be a continuous night shift; only occasional support for urgent situations)
➤ Candidate should have access to a personal laptop/desktop with a stable broadband connection for emergency remote access
