Job Description
Job Summary
The Compliance Executive is responsible for supporting and maintaining compliance with international standards like ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and SOC 2. This includes assisting in the implementation, monitoring, and auditing of security and privacy practices, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and collaborating with teams to address non-conformities.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Management
Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and SOC 2 frameworks.
Assist in creating and updating policies, procedures, and documentation.
Monitor adherence to established security and privacy controls.
Audits and Assessments
Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
Prepare evidence and documentation for external audits and certifications.
Track and ensure timely closure of corrective actions and non-conformities.
Collaboration and Training
Work with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain compliance controls.
Conduct awareness sessions for employees on compliance requirements.
Incident Management
Assist in responding to security incidents and ensuring proper documentation.
Collaborate in root cause analysis and reporting for compliance-related incidents.
Monitoring and Reporting
Track compliance metrics and prepare regular status reports for management.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT, or a related field.
Experience: 1+ year in compliance or information security roles, with exposure to ISO 27001, ISO 27701, or SOC 2 frameworks.
Certifications (preferred): ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, or equivalent.
Skills
Understanding of information security principles and compliance frameworks.
Strong documentation and process management abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with audit processes and risk management tools
