Community Support Worker:

We are seeking a passionate Community Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for working with vulnerable individuals and families to support their health and wellbeing while in public housing.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

Providing client-centred support to individuals and families seeking housing assistance or residing in public housing
Building positive relationships with tenants, external stakeholders, and internal teams
Maintaining accurate records and information to meet departmental and regulatory standards
Requirements:

Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable client groups
Previous experience in a client-focused role, preferably in community services or housing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to problem-solve and make decisions
Cultural awareness and empathy, with sensitivity and professionalism when interacting with diverse clients
