Community & Content Manager- job post Koch Ford Lincoln Sales (2003) Ltd
Job Description
Who We Are
Koch Automotive Group is a family-owned automotive group that has served Alberta for nearly 70 years.
We operate several automotive brands and dealerships across the province.
We move quickly, work in small teams and give people room to take ownership of their work. You’ll be part of an in-house marketing and technology team where your content has a direct and visible impact on the business.
About the Role
We’re looking for someone who understands social media, enjoys creating content and knows how to communicate with real people online.
This is not a role where you’ll spend the entire day scheduling generic posts from behind a desk. You’ll work directly with our dealerships, staff, vehicles, customers and events to create content that feels current, useful and authentic.
You’ll help manage our social media presence across multiple automotive brands, create original photo and video content, respond to customers and track what is actually working.
What You’ll Do
Create and manage social media content
Develop and maintain monthly content calendars for multiple dealership brands
Write social captions, promotions and community-focused content
Capture and edit photos and short-form video
Cover dealership events, vehicle launches and community initiatives
Respond to comments and messages in the appropriate brand voice
Monitor online conversations and flag issues that need to be escalated
Work with sales, service and marketing teams to identify content opportunities
Review performance and use the data to improve future content
Keep branding, offers and dealership information accurate
Use AI and automation tools to improve workflow without replacing judgment or original thinking
About You
You’re a strong communicator who understands that social media is about more than posting consistently. You think about the audience, the message and what the content is supposed to accomplish.
You’re comfortable working independently, but you also know when to ask questions and involve the right people.
You should be:
A strong writer with excellent spelling and grammar
Comfortable taking photos and recording video
Familiar with Meta Business Suite and social media analytics
Organized and able to manage multiple brands and deadlines
Comfortable speaking with staff and customers
Able to turn everyday dealership activity into useful content
Curious, creative and willing to test new ideas
Calm and professional when dealing with customer concerns
Able to accept feedback and adjust quickly
Reliable and comfortable taking ownership of your work
Automotive experience is helpful, but it is not required. Understanding people, content and communication matters more.
