About the role
Our client, a government regulatory agency, seeks a Communications and Digital Adviser to join them on an assignment for a duration of up to a period of 6-months based in Melbourne CBD with an immediate start. As a Communications and Digital Adviser, you will support the development of communications action plans and associated collateral for a major project to improve how the organisation communicates across its operational communications.
The Communications and Digital Adviser will support how we identify, improve and create operational communications aligned to a new regulatory management system and new processes
Responsibilities and tasks:
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Supporting the development of communications actions plan to improve the organisation's operational communications as part of its new regulatory management system, in line with major processes and technology changes.
Identifying, developing and implementing operational communication activities, such as letter, SMS and email content, templates, phone scripting, and web and portal content.
Facilitating forums, surveys and interviews with stakeholders to gather insights to inform communication improvements.
Working closely with subject matter experts from across the organisation in a consultative and supportive manner to develop and deliver communication activities and initiatives.
Supporting the development and delivery of a suite of resources to assist our staff, the community and lawyers to understand the new complaints handling processes.
Supporting the organisation's re-brand project, providing input and advice on frontline operational communications needs.
Key Selection Criteria:
The experience and skills you will need to demonstrate include:
Demonstrated ability in digital platform management within a government environment.
Experience working on a major transformation change project.
High-level written communication skills.
A high level of computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft 365.
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in Communications, Media, or a related field and at least three years' experience in a communications role is essential
