Job Title: Communication Officer
Location: Mumbai – Head Office
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: 1–2 years
Salary: ₹4 LPA
Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and motivated Communication Officer to lead internal and external communication efforts. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for impactful storytelling, social media engagement, and content creation.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management
Develop and implement a communication strategy to increase digital reach and engagement
Manage content for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and the website
Coordinate with web vendors for timely updates
Capture and curate photo and video content in collaboration with relevant teams
Plan and execute campaigns for key events, milestones, and awareness days
Maintain a content calendar with important dates and deliverables
Content Creation & Copywriting
Write and edit engaging content such as blogs, newsletters, case stories, reports, and website copy
Collaborate with program teams to develop human interest stories
Ensure accuracy and consistency in messaging across all communication materials
Design & Branding Support
Assist in the design and production of materials like brochures, posters, and presentations
Support donor and partner communication initiatives
Create visual content using tools like Canva, Photoshop, or InDesign
Additional Responsibilities
Stay current with social media and communication trends
Participate in team development activities
Ensure high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all deliverables
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media, Mass Communication, or related field
1–2 years of experience in communications, content creation, or related roles
Excellent writing and verbal skills in English and Hindi
Experience in the social sector, PR, or advertising is a plus
Ability to create content for both digital and print platforms
