JOB DESCRIPTION
Oscar Mike Security is currently looking to hire a Part-time and/or Full-time Commissioned Officer for an HOA in Spring/Houston area. These positions are 12 hour overnight shifts. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for the security and safety of our client's assets. Duties and responsibilities can include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Patrol HOA neighborhood to maintain order and establish presence
- Enforce rules and regulations set by the Property's on-site management
- Complete incident/maintenance reports
- Submit reports through our digital report writing system
- Responding to Call for Service calls
- Other duties as assigned
As a Security Officer, you may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). You will need to be knowledgeable of these and able to act quickly/efficiently according to such directives.
To apply for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Must have high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Must have valid Level 3 Commissioned license and/or certifications based on state and local requirements for the area the position is located
-Must be able to make lawful arrests when necessary
- Must own duty weapon and rig
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must be knowledgeable of legal guidelines for security and public safety in the area where the position is located
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work with law enforcement
- Must be able to work independently and function with limited supervision
- Must have dependable means of transportation
- Capable of performing duties with a high level of accuracy and ability to maintain the highest level of integrity at all times
As of January 1, 2024, all Commissioned applicants must have the following:
- Valid MMPI from a licensed professional
- Valid self-defense/hand-to-hand combat course through a licensed instructor
