Job Description
As the Head Commis at Cinema hall, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of food preparation and service within the cinema. You will supervise kitchen staff, maintain food safety standards, and work closely with management to deliver an exceptional dining experience to our patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation and Presentation:Oversee the preparation and presentation of food items, including concessions, snacks, and potentially other menu items.
Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
Monitor food portion sizes and presentation for consistency.
Kitchen Operations:Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and kitchen assistants.
Schedule and manage kitchen shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
Train and mentor kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety, and cleanliness.
Inventory Management:Assist in managing food inventory, including ordering, receiving, and rotating stock.
Conduct regular inventory counts to monitor and control food costs.
Minimize food wastage and spoilage through effective inventory management.
Food Safety and Sanitation:Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Monitor kitchen staff's adherence to hygiene and safety guidelines.
Quality Control:Taste and evaluate food items for quality and taste.
Address any quality issues promptly and make necessary adjustments.
Collaborate with management to develop and refine the menu.
Customer Service:Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that food orders are prepared and served promptly.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any food-related issues.
Cost Control:Monitor food costs and work to maintain profitability.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹33,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
