Commercial Lead Responsibilities Commercial Lead - HO - O3 Budgeting and Financial Management: Assist in the annual budgeting process and forecasting activities, collaborating with finance and regional heads. Review and analyze financial data to inform budget decisions and ensure alignment with financial targets. Support the Commercial Head in the review and approval of vendor agreements and financial proposals. Procurement and Vendor Management: Coordinate with regional heads and finance to ensure alignment and approval of annual rate contracts. Oversee the procurement process, including the creation and integration of purchase requisitions into SAP. Conduct market analysis to identify potential vendors and negotiate terms to ensure cost-effectiveness. Compliance and Process Improvement: Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations. Support process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing costs. Assist in the development and implementation of new SOPs and best practices. Support internal audit teams, statutory audits, and develop new SOPs for process improvement. Inventory and Receivable Management: Oversee inventory management to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment. Manage receivable processes, including the creation of new vendor and customer accounts. Coordinate with distribution centres for inventory and payment operations. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal stakeholders such as sales, legal, HR, and corporate cells to ensure smooth operations. Coordinate with external stakeholders, including auditors and bankers, for compliance and financial activities. Collaborate with the central finance team and other departments for coordination and reporting. Market Analysis and Research: Conduct market reviews and research new vendors through various channels. Explore new vendor opportunities within the group and from external sources. Analyze vendor quotations, reviews, and feedback to ensure quality and reliability of materials and services. KEY STAKEHOLDERS Internal Stakeholders: Sales Legal HR Corporate Cells Finance Distribution Centers Central Finance IT ABEX Plant Heads External Stakeholders: Vendors Auditors Bankers IT Regulatory Authorities Qualifications Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CA or semi-qualified CA with adequate experience is preferred: a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) is optional. Work Experience: A relevant experience of 3 years, preferably in a leadership position in a similar role with a proven track record of financial and commercial management. Preferred Industry: Experience in the food industry or perishable goods industry is preferred but not mandatory.
