Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Commercial Interior Designer at Transcendence Design Studio. The role includes responsibilities such as:
• Space Planning and Architecture Skills: Expertise in designing functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ArchiCAD.
• Construction Drawings and Interior Design Expertise: Ability to produce detailed construction drawings and implement design concepts using tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Bluebeam.
• Knowledge of FF&E: Proficiency in selecting and integrating Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipments.
• Experience in Commercial Interior Design Projects: Proven track record in delivering successful commercial design projects and onsite cordination with consultants and contractors .
• Strong Creativity and Design Sensibility: Innovative approach to design with a keen eye for detail, supported by software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for presentations and mood boards.
• Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively communicate ideas and present design concepts using tools like Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe InDesign.
• Proficiency in Design Software and Tools: Skilled in using industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit.
• Technical Skills: Understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards; experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) in Revit and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems like AutoCAD.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and coordinate with contractors and vendors using software like Microsoft Project.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Skill in addressing design challenges and finding practical, creative solutions, often facilitated by 3D modeling software like SketchUp and Rhino.
• Budgeting and Cost Management: Experience in preparing budgets, cost estimates, and managing project finances with tools such as Excel and specific project management software.
• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree: Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 5 to 7 Years of Experience: Relevant experience in commercial projects.
