Safely operate a commercial trucks.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
Follow designated routes for delivery and pick-up, adhering to schedules while maintaining flexibility for route adjustments.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance in compliance with transportation regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
Qualifications
Valid CDL license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery route driving and freight handling.
Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers.
Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo securement procedures.
Strong physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients effectively.
