Duties
Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and industrial sites, using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed.
Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly.
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning tasks.
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the supervisor promptly.
Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning schedules and confidentiality agreements.
Skills
Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to commercial cleaning practices.
