Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Architect with 2 to 8 years of experience in architectural design and drafting for commercial projects. The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, along with a good understanding of building design, project coordination, and architectural detailing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop architectural design drawings, models, and documents using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD for commercial projects, ensuring design accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Work closely with project managers, architects, and other team members to translate design concepts into detailed drawings and 3D models.
• Create and maintain building information models (BIM), including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details for commercial buildings.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (Structural, MEP, etc.) to ensure integrated designs that meet client requirements and building codes.
• Review and ensure compliance of Revit models with local regulations and building standards.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including design presentations, project specifications, and schedules.
• Collaborate on concept designs, design development, and coordination of the architectural design with stakeholders.
• Manage and update Revit files to maintain consistency and accuracy across various project phases.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• 2 to 8 years of hands-on experience in architectural design and drafting, with exposure in Revit up to construction modelling & documentation, for commercial projects.
• Proficiency in other design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, detailing, and construction documentation.
• Experience working on commercial projects, including office buildings, retail spaces, or mixed-use developments.
• Good knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and manage project timelines effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
